Malek* felt fantastic about the results he was seeing since starting the RealGROWTH® program with Ashley and Martin. At 23 years old, he’d been losing his hair for nearly 12 months and had considered looking into professional treatment for 6 of those 12 months.
His hair was very dark and the skin on his crown was quite noticeable in contrast; his thinning crown was making him feel self-conscious about his appearance. With a family history of male pattern baldness (his brother and father both suffered from similar hair-loss) Malek felt it was time to enlist that professional help that he had been considering and, after being referred to an Ashley and Martin medical hair loss clinic by another family member, he made an appointment for a free consultation.
It came as no surprise when he was diagnosed with male pattern baldness – level 3 vertex on the Norwood scale. The consultant explained that the Norwood scale is the medical classification system used to measure the extent of male pattern baldness.
Eleven months into his treatment program Malek was feeling fantastic. His receding hairline had halted and he was indeed growing thick, healthy hair over his once visible scalp. His vertex (which had suffered the most hair loss) had also started to cover over with new growth but Malek wanted more results and was ready to re-enroll in the program for further treatment. He could see he was on the road to almost full recovery – his wife and brother had also commented on how great his hair was looking.
Malek was excited to re-enroll. He’d got his confidence back and could relax back into life with his young family without having to worry about going bald at an early age.
